Description
Centennial Hop Extract
Named after the Washington State festival. Centennial is an aroma-type cultivar, bred in 1974 and released in 1990. The name is derived from the 100 Year Celebration of the state of Washington in 1989. 3/4 of the variety is coming from Brewers Gold, but some genetic material derives from fuggels and East Kent Golding. The citrus character is a consistent background in Centennial’s aroma. Woody-spicy aromas of spruce, barrique, tonka bean, tarragon and aniseed combine with fruity raspberry notes to produce a well-rounded character combined with exotic lychee and pineapple flavors.Fresh lemon and bergamot spiced with aniseed add to a flavor explosion
True-to-type and simple to dose without the need for special equipment, Incognito® is designed to maximize flavor efficiency. It is flowable at room temperature and ensures maximum hop flavour with minimum process loss, while also reducing storage and transportation costs.
Thanks to its low viscosity, this pure varietal hop product is perfect for late hopping in modern whirlpool equipment with low solid matter capacity. Beer losses are significantly reduced compared with using pellets for late hopping.
Produced from CO2 hop extract.
Application: Mix with the hot wort before pouring into the whirlpool. 1g/l Is equivalent to 6g/l of T90 hops.
In 225 years, BarthHaas® has grown from its roots as a Franconian hop merchant to become an expert in flavour for the best beers all over the world. As massive as the changes have been, one factor has remained unchanged over the centuries: our love for hops!
